NNA – Israeli enemy forces on Wednesday conducted live-fire sweeps and heavy machine-gun fire from Al-Assi military site, targeting the Al-Jidar and Darb Al-Hawrat areas southeast of Meiss El-Jabal.  

The gunfire appeared aimed at intimidating residents inspecting their damaged homes. 

A civilian vehicle was hit, but no injuries were reported. The incident adds to escalating tensions along Lebanon’s southern border.
