NNA - The Israeli enemy’s army withdrew from southern Lebanese towns early Tuesday, but its forces remained in five border points, our reporter said on Tuesday.
In further details, the Israeli army pulled out from the towns of Blida, Yaroun, Maroun al-Ras, Mais al-Jabal, Houla, Markaba, Odeiseh, Kfarkela and Wazzani.
Consequently, the Lebanese Army entered the liberated towns and launched operations to clear up bombs and earth mounds.
UN peacekeeping mission in Lebanon (UNIFIL) ran patrols in the liberated areas and erected several posts next to Lebanese army checkpoints.
Meanwhile, Israeli army forces are still deployed at five border posts in southern Lebanon, adjacent to settlements in northern Israel.
Opposite the five enemy positions lie key settlement clusters: the hills of Labouneh in the outskirts of Naqoura face major settlements in western Galilee, from Rosh Hanikra to Shlomi and Nahariya. Mount Blat, located between Marwahin and Ramyeh, faces the settlements of Shtula and Zar'it. Meanwhile, Jall al-Deir and Mount al-Bat in the outskirts of Aytaroun face Avivim, Yiftah, and Malkia. In the eastern sector, the Dawawir point along the Markaba–Hula road faces the Hounin Valley and the Margaliot settlement, while Hammamis Hill faces the Metula settlement.
