NNA - The General Directorate of Civil Defense announced in a statement on Saturday that its rescue teams are continuing, in full coordination with the Lebanese Army, search operations in the areas that were subjected to the Israeli aggression, based on the directives of the Director General of Civil Defense, Brigadier General Nabil Farah.

In this context, the specialized teams were able today to retrieve the bodies of two martyrs from the town of Khiyam, one in the Al-Houma neighborhood and the other in Wadi Qais, in addition to the body of a martyr in the town of Aita al-Shaab. The bodies were transferred to Marjeyoun Governmental Hospital, where they will undergo the necessary medical and legal examinations, including DNA tests, under the supervision of the concerned authorities to determine their identities.

"The General Directorate of Civil Defense confirms its continuation in performing its humanitarian and national duties according to the set plans, and in close cooperation with the Lebanese Army, until the completion of the search operations for all missing persons, despite the field challenges and difficult circumstances imposed by the nature of the tasks carried out.
