NNA - Southern Lebanon’s Khardali-Marjeyoun road has been reopened to the public, our reporter said on Monday, witnessing heavy traffic as residents began re-entering the area.  

In the nearby town of Deir Mimas, the Lebanese Army received a warm and celebratory welcome from locals. Residents greeted the troops with rose petals and rice, while church bells rang out in a display of gratitude and support.
