NNA – The Lebanese army on Monday denied allegations by a foreign newspaper that army officers had leaked security information to a partisan group.

“The army command categorically denies these claims, especially that they come at a critical time when the army is undertaking significant responsibilities,” the military said in a statement.

It added that “the military institution officers are carrying out their duties across various units with the highest level of professionalism and expertise by orders from their leadership.”
