NNA - The Lebanese Army on Wednesday completed its deployment across southern Lebanon’s Al-Arqoub region, coordinating closely with UNIFIL forces.

Several armored vehicles and tanks were stationed in the heights of the town of Kfarchouba, extending all the way to Birket Baathail area.

The deployment also covered the towns of Kfar Hammam and Rashaya al-Fukhar.

Earlier, the Lebanese Army had positioned troops on the eastern side of the town of Shebaa. Residents of Kfarchouba welcomed the army with cheers and the sound of celebratory gunfire.

In a separate development, an Israeli enemy drone launched two air-to-ground missiles targeting the Bastara area, located east of the town of Majidiyeh.
