NNA - Israeli enemy forces on Thursday carried out sweeping operations with machine guns from the southern Lebanese town of Maroun al-Ras toward the city of Bint Jbeil. 

The operation coincided with hostile Merkava tank movements in the northern neighborhood of Maroun al-Ras.  

The activity was also accompanied by intense drone and reconnaissance aircraft flights over the area.
