NNA - The southern Lebanese village of Aita al-Shaab in the Bent Jbeil district on Friday was subjected to artillery shelling by Israeli forces. 

Concurrently, the Israeli military conducted explosions and a sweeping operation using heavy machine guns inside the village's neighborhoods.  

Later in the evening, an Israeli military unit established positions near the Lebanese Army's base at the intersection of Al-Qawzah, Debel, and Aita al-Shaab.
