NNA - Israeli enemy forces on Friday continued their violations in the occupied villages of southern Lebanon, with bulldozers demolishing homes in neighborhoods of Naqoura and leveling them to the ground. These actions delayed the Lebanese Army's entry into the town yesterday.
Meanwhile, the Tyre-Naqoura highway has witnessed heightened activity, with UNIFIL patrols moving alongside Lebanese Army units. The Lebanese Army has erected concrete barriers on the coastal Hamra-Biyada road leading to Naqoura, restricting access to the town except for UNIFIL vehicles and personnel.
In the recently evacuated areas of Shamaa and Bayada, the Lebanese Army’s engineering teams are conducting thorough surveys.
It is worth noting that Naqoura hosts UNIFIL's headquarters in Lebanon.
