NNA - The General Directorate of Civil Defense announced that its specialized search and rescue teams, under the directives of the Director General of Civil Defense, Brigadier General Nabil Farah, and in cooperation and coordination with the Lebanese Army, were able to retrieve the bodies of five martyrs, four of them from the eastern neighborhood and one from the detention neighborhood in the town of Khiam. They were transferred to Marjeyoun Governmental Hospital.

Efforts to find all the missing persons as a result of the recent Israeli aggression, which caused severe damage to lives and property in the town of Khiam, will continue tomorrow at the beginning of the third week of search operations.
