NNA - Israeli enemy forces on Tuesday intensified their aggression in southern Lebanon, opening heavy machine-gun fire on the outskirts of the southern towns of Chaqra, Doubiyeh Castle, and the valleys surrounding Qabrikha and Majdal Selm. 

A number of artillery shells also struck the outskirts of Chehine and Al-Jebbine, escalating tensions in the region. 

Meanwhile, a loud explosion heard in the southern Lebanese region was attributed to a large-scale demolition operation carried out by Israeli forces in the town of Khiyam.

In a separate incident, an unexploded missile fired by an Israeli warplane penetrated a three-story residential building in the town of Qlaiaat in Akkar.
