NNA - Dozens of civilians were killed and many were wounded on Friday morning in an Israeli shelling that targeted different areas in the northern and southern war-torn Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondent confirmed that Israeli forces bombarded a residential block in the vicinity of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya, leading to the killing of over 30 civilians and the injury of many others.
Two civilians were also killed in the occupation’s bombardment of the Ra'afi school in the town of Jabalia, where displaced people are seeking refuge.
Three citizens were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Khirbet al-Adas area north of the city of Rafah.
A significant number of people are still missing under the rubble of homes in Beit Lahia. Bodies and the wounded are also scattered on the streets, unreachable by anyone. The occupation forces are blocking ambulances and medical teams from entering the area, targeting anyone who tries to approach.
The occupation forces also blew up a large number of residential buildings in Gaza City and in the southern Strip’s city of Rafah.
WAFA correspondent said that Israeli forces violently shelled the central Gaza City Governorate, especially the outskirts of the village of Masdar and the refugee camps of al-Maghazi and Bureij.
The Israeli occupation’s ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 44,580 civilians, mostly women and children, and the injury of 105,739 others.
This toll remains incomplete, as thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble or scattered along the roads, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews due to the relentless Israeli shelling and massive amount of debris.--WAFA
