NNA - The Lebanese Army Command - Orientation Directorate issued the following statement: “On 11/30/2024, a naval patrol was able to rescue 17 Syrians while they were trying to leave Lebanon illegally by sea, after their boat incurred a malfunction off the shore of Chekka - Batroun. The army assisted them with the help of the Lebanese Red Cross, and took charge of transporting the boat back to shore."
