NNA -Israeli airstrikes across southern Lebanon overnight have left at least 10 people dead and scores injured, with civil defense, Red Cross, and health teams resuming search operations for missing individuals trapped under rubble in heavily bombarded areas, including Tyre and Nabatieh.
In Nabatieh, back-to-back airstrikes on the Maqassed neighborhood claimed the lives of two civilians: 91-year-old shepherd Hassan Qaddouh, one of the city’s oldest residents, who refused to leave his home, and another man identified as a member of the Awadeh family. The strikes destroyed several homes and caused widespread devastation.
Elsewhere, three members of the same family perished in Jibsheet when airstrikes leveled their home in Al-Saha neighborhood. Fadel Amin Aran, his wife Fatima Qassem Shukr, and their daughter-in-law Mona Ali Shbeib were killed, while others sustained injuries.
In Kafr Rumman, jets struck Haret Al-Siyyar at approximately 6:15 a.m., wounding three individuals. A second strike targeted an open area in Doha Kafr Rumman, while overnight raids hit Khirbet Selm in Bint Jbeil district, causing injuries.
In Aba, airstrikes on Al-Baydar neighborhood claimed two more lives: Ibrahim Ali Tarhini and Ali Kamel Suleiman. Their homes were destroyed, leaving nine injured and nearby properties heavily damaged.
Further destruction was reported in Yuhmor Al-Shaqif, where drone strikes obliterated the home of journalist Mohammad Ali Alaiq and his mother’s residence. A separate raid on a commercial center left one person dead and caused extensive structural damage.
