NNA – The Islamic Resistance on Monday announced that it had launched two separate rocket attacks on Israeli military positions in northern Israel, as part of its support for Gaza and defense of Lebanon.  

In Statement No. 5, the group confirmed targeting Israeli forces stationed in the Avivim settlement at 11:30 a.m. 

“In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza, their honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance fired a rocket salvo at an Israeli army gathering in Avivim,” the statement read.  

Later in the day, at 12:35 p.m., a second attack was carried out on Israeli forces in the Meron settlement, marking the second strike on that location. 

The operation was announced in Statement No. 4, which reiterated the same objectives: solidarity with Gaza and defense of Lebanese sovereignty.
