NNA - National News Agency correspondent in Tyre reported that clashes between the "Islamic Resistance" and an Israeli force reinforced with Merkava tanks that was trying to enter the town of al-Bayada via Shamaa and Tayr Harfa towards Wadi Hamoul led to the burning of more than four Merkava tanks that the resistance targeted with guided missiles, and to deaths and injuries. Flames and black smoke were seen erupting from the tanks.

A convoy of 30 Israeli military vehicles retreated from south of al-Bayada-al-Dikan after trying to bypass and control al-Bayada and the town of Naqoura, at the sound of the resistance's rockets, and withdrew towards Shamaa and Tayr Harfa under artillery cover.
