NNA - The "Islamic Resistance" announced in a communique this evening that in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the Resistance fighters targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with a guided missile at 4:45 p.m., on the Lobia Hill on the western outskirts of the town of Deir Mimas, destroying it and killing and wounding its crew.

It added that when another Merkava tank attempted to advance to tow one of the destroyed tanks on the eastern outskirts of the town of al-Bayada, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted it at 5:15 p.m. with a guided missile, destroying it as well and killing and wounding its crew.
