NNA - The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health on Thursday announced that Israeli airstrikes on the town of Maarakeh in Tyre district yesterday left 13 dead and 44 injured.

The statement emphasized that the casualty count remains preliminary, as rescue operations and damage assessments continue in the heavily bombarded area.

In another statement, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center reported that an Israeli airstrike on the town of Shaatiyeh in Tyre district resulted in three deaths and five injuries.
