NNA - The Israeli occupation forces escalated their attacks on the villages and cities of Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts throughout last night until this morning.

The enemy warplanes raided a civil defense center affiliated with the Islamic Al-Rissala Scouts Association in the town of Deir Qanun, Ras al-Ain, which led to the fall of 15 martyrs, and the defense teams are still continuing their search operations for missing persons under the rubble.

The enemy warplanes also raided the town of Hanawaih, where they targeted a house, killing five persons and wounding several others who where taken to Hiram Hospital in Abbasiya, the surrounding area of ​​which was also subjected to an enemy raid, severely damaging the hospital’s equipment.

The enemy forces continued their hostilities by carrying out seven raids on the Haush area, during which a number of buildings were randomly destroyed. Simultaneously, the enemy warplanes and drones raided the towns of al-Abbasiya, al-Qasimiya, al-Borghliya, al-Shabriha, Ain Baal, Batuliya, Shaqra, Kafra, Sarbin, Beit Lif, al-Samma’iyya Shama, and Hanin, completely destroying the targeted homes.

At dawn and after midnight, the towns of Majdal Zoun, Tair Harfa, al-Dhaira, the outskirts of Kounin and the city of Bint Jbeil were also subjected to the enemy’s direct artillery shelling. 

Throughout last night and until this morning, Israeli reconnaissance drones and military aircraft flew densely over the villages of Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts, firing flare bombs over the villages of the western and central sectors, all the way to the outskirts of the Litani River and the sea coast. 

Most of the hostile raids carried out by enemy warplanes last night targeted civil defense centers affiliated with the Islamic Al-Rissala  Scouts Association and the Islamic Health Authority.
