NNA - Israeli enemy warplanes on Friday carried out an airstrike on the southern Lebanese town of Khirbet Selim in Bint Jbeil district, marking a continued escalation in the region. 

In the town of Al-Ghandourieh, Israeli aircraft targeted a residential building, while a drone strike hit the area between Al-Housh and the Batoulieh plains. 

For the first time since the beginning of the Israeli aggression, artillery shelling targeted villages in the Tyre region, with the sounds of bombardments clearly audible in the area. 

The artillery fire also struck the towns of Hanine, Shakra, Al-Tayr, and Kounine. Additionally, Israeli warplanes targeted the towns of Al-Jumayjma, Al-Sawana, and Majdal Selm.
