NNA – Israeli enemy airstrikes on the southern Lebanese town of Kfar Tibnit on Friday morning resulted in the deaths of two individuals and the destruction of a building on the town’s main road, which housed apartments and commercial spaces. 

The intense bombardment follows a midnight attack in the nearby town of Zebdin, where an airstrike claimed the lives of Lebanese citizen Mohammad Mokaddam and his two children, Fayez and Hadi, as their apartment near Zibdin’s public school was hit and destroyed.

Overnight, Israeli aircraft also targeted the towns of Kounine and Tayr Harfa, accompanied by intermittent artillery shelling in Hanin, Kounine and Tayr Harfa. In Majdal, another airstrike severely damaged a residential home and nearby properties. 

Additionally, a paramedic from the Health Authority, Zahir Ibrahim Ataya, was killed in an airstrike on an emergency center along the Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain – Naqoura road.
