NNA - The Israeli army’s spokesperson on Thursday renewed threats against Baalbek and the neighboring towns of Ain Bourday and Douris.

Shortly after the warning, Baalbek's regional Civil Defense chief, Bilal Raad, reportedly received a call on his secure line from a Danish number, instructing him to evacuate Baalbek and surrounding areas, including Civil Defense centers, with a warning of potential airstrikes resuming after 2:00 p.m.

In response, Civil Defense vehicles patrolled residential neighborhoods, urging residents to evacuate through loudspeaker announcements as tensions in the area continue to rise.
