NNA - Caretaker Environment Minister, Coordinator of the Government's Emergency Committee, Nasser Yassin, distributed on Saturday report No. 29 on the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and the current situation, as follows:
- During the past 24 hours, 76 airstrikes were recorded in different areas of Lebanon, most of them in the south and Nabatieh, bringing the total number of attacks since the beginning of the Israeli aggression to 11,161 attacks.
- The Public Health Ministry issued the death toll and the number of wounded during the past 24 hours, where 19 martyrs and 108 wounded were recorded, bringing the total number since the beginning of the events to 2,653 martyrs and 12,360 wounded.
- To date, 1,108 centers have been opened to receive the displaced, 931 of which have reached their maximum capacity.
- The total number of displaced persons has reached 189,169 (42,907 families) in shelters, with the highest percentage of displaced persons recorded in Mount Lebanon and Beirut governorates (estimated to be much higher).
- All security apparatuses are contributing to helping the displaced, distributing food and fuel, protecting shelters, monitoring prices, and controlling borders.
- From September 23 to October 26, 2024, the General Security recorded the crossing of 349,796 Syrian citizens and 159,148 Lebanese citizens into Syrian territory.
- The Governmental Emergency Committee is responsible for receiving international aid and distributing it to the displaced within a clear and transparent mechanism across the governorates.
