NNA - The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon on Tuesday announced in a statement: "In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their courageous and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, Islamic Resistance fighters engaged in combat with a force of Israeli soldiers attempting to infiltrate the outskirts of the town of Taybeh at 8:22 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024. The fighters inflicted direct hits on the enemy. When the Israeli forces brought in armored vehicles to support the engaged unit, the resistance fighters again confronted them, forcing them to retreat. The fighters then launched rocket attacks on the retreating forces, achieving direct hits."
