NNA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who has rarely traveled outside the capital since the start of the Russian invasion, paid his first visit to the city of Mykolaiv in southern Ukraine today, AFP reported.
 
A video clip published by the Ukrainian presidency showed Zelensky inspecting a severely damaged apartment building, and holding meetings with local officials in the coastal and industrial city of Mykolaiv, which is still under Ukrainian control, but is close to Kherson, which is occupied by the Russians, where the city is still a target for Moscow because it is located on the road leading to Odessa, the largest port in Ukraine.
