NNA - Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salameh, on Monday received in his office at the National Library in Sanayeh, the Regional Director of the Francophone Agency in the Middle East (AUF), Dr. Jean-Noël Ballieu, accompanied by Cynthia Raad, the Deputy Regional Director, and Miranda Khalaf, Project Manager at AUF.  

Discussions reportedly touched on the preparations for the Francophonie Month and ways of cooperation in joint activities between the two sides.

On emerging, Ballieu said that the delegation congratulated Minister Salameh on assuming his ministerial duties and wished him success in his endeavors. “We discussed the preparations related to the Francophone month organized by the Agency, especially the cultural ones,” Ballieu said, adding “We also discussed reactivating the bilateral cooperation plan and joint activities in order to promote Francophonie and culture in Lebanon.”
