NNA - Caretaker Minister of Energy and Water Resources, Gebran Bassil, on Friday met with the US Ambassador to Lebanon, David Hale, over the fresh developments pertaining to the offshore oil resources dossier.



The pair also discussed the current general political situation prevailing on the local scene.



Bassil later met with an economic delegation of the Lebanese national forces and parties gathering, with talks featuring high on a petition ministers have started to sign to press for holding an extraordinary session for the caretaker government to approve oil decrees.
