NNA - Minister of Labor, Dr. Mohammad Haidar, on Monday received in his office, the Russian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Rudakov, who came on an acquaintance visit, during which they discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region.

 Minister Haidar later met with a delegation from the Lebanese Doctors’ Syndicate in Beirut, headed by Syndicate Dean Professor Youssef Bakhash, in the presence of the Director General of the National Social Security Fund, Dr. Mohammed Karaki.

The discussion dealt with the Union's affairs and related matters.

The Minister of Labor also received the President of the Lebanese American University, Dr. Shawqi Al-Abdullah, at the head of a delegation, with whom he discussed academic issues, in addition to cooperation prospects between the Ministry and the University.
