NNA - Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, on Tuesday received in his office at the ministry, U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Lisa Johnson, who paid him a congratulatory visit on assuming his ministerial duties.

Discussions reportedly touched on the general situation in the country.

During the meeting, the pair discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, especially at the ministry level, according to a statement from the Minister's office.

On the other hand, Minister Rasamny held a meeting with a delegation from the Council for Development and Reconstruction, headed by Engineer Nabil Al-Jisr, during which discussions touched on the already accomplished and future projects by the Council.
