NNA - Caretaker Finance Minister, Youssef Khalil, on Wednesday directed all relevant departments to prioritize the allocation and disbursement of funds related to relief efforts, including payments to hospitals and healthcare providers. 

This is in response to ongoing Israeli aggression and the urgent needs of displaced persons. 

In a separate memo, Khalil called on the tax administration to postpone field surveys of businesses and organizations to assess tax compliance due to the significant disruptions caused by the attacks. 

Additionally, Khalil announced a series of extensions for filing deadlines, with details available on the ministry's website starting Thursday, September 26, 2024.
