NNA - Fuel distributors’ representative in Lebanon, Fadi Abou Chakra, on Wednesday told the "National News Agency" that the recent increase in Sayrafa’s USD exchange rate from LBP 22,000 to LBP 22,850 will lead to an increase in fuel prices, which will be reflected in today’s price grid. 

Abou Chakra couldn’t help but wonder about the reason behind the continued rise in the USD exchange rate “despite the positive political atmosphere, especially with the return of the Kuwaiti and Saudi ambassadors to Lebanon, and the restoration of relations with Gulf states.”
