NNA - Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh said in a statement today, that "the approved and fixed exchange rate of the US dollar for importing gasoline until Tuesday evening, March 29, 2022, is LBP 22,200 in cash, regardless of the fluctuations in the Sayrafa rates, for companies importing gasoline."

The statement added that "as of Monday. March 28, banks can sell the lira for cash against the cash dollar or vice versa at the latest Sayrafa rate, without specifying a ceiling on the quantity traded."
