NNA - Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Ali Hamieh, met Monday with Egyptian Ambassador to Beirut, Yasser Alawi, who conveyed his country's interest to develop ties with Lebanon.

"Egypt is looking forward to investing in different projects, especially in the sector of ports -- from Tripoli to Tyre, passing by Beirut," said Alawi.

He also indicated that Egyptian companies were ready to take part in the tenders to be launched by the Ministry of Public Works.
