NNA – Land Transport Unions head, Bassam Tleis, on Wednesday hoped that "the Council of Ministers will reach a solution today; otherwise, we will have to take other escalatory measures.”
Tleis stressed that the land transport union did not close roads to citizens, but rather left some lanes opened to traffic; however, he made it clear that public drivers couldn’t continue to work at a loss.
“This sector represents all groups, sects, regions, and political movements, and does not work for a specific group,” Tleis added.
