NNA - Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, called for strict implementation of the preventive measures taken to limit the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Premier Mikati called on the various security apparatuses not to be lenient in this matter within the available capabilities.

While presiding over part of the meeting held at the Grand Serail by the Health Committee tasked to follow up on the implementation of anti-Coronavirus measures, Mikati stressed the importance of firmly implementing the preventive measures issued respectively by the committee.

The PM reiterated the importance of vaccinating all age groups, because vaccination is of utmost necessity, in anticipation of a rise in the number of infections during the holidays.

Regarding the return to schools after the holiday, he emphasized the need to have all teachers, administrators and students vaccinated in order to reach complete immunity in the educational sector.
