NNA - Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, continued Sunday his inspection tour of snow plowing centers to check on their full readiness in keeping the mountain roads open.

He began his tour by visiting the snow plowing center in Dahr al-Baidar where he met with the daily workers, saying: "As part of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, we must keep all mountain roads open to citizens in the eastern and western mountain ranges, especially in this region to which we accord utmost care to keep its roads accessible as it is a vital artery."

He stressed that the ministry will remain in constant contact with the snow plowing centers, thanking the daily laborers and rescue teams for their exerted efforts and urging citizens to adhere to the instructions of the Internal Security Forces during storms for the sake of public and traffic safety.
