NNA - Caretaker Health Minister, Dr. Firas Abiad, on Wednesday launched a national flu vaccination campaign in partnership with UNICEF and the World Health Organization, aimed at protecting vulnerable groups, particularly elderly displaced persons and those with chronic illnesses.  

Abiad emphasized that the campaign, supported by the Ministry of Health, was part of ongoing efforts to safeguard public health amidst rising tensions and overcrowded shelters. 

The Health Minister praised local and international partners, including the WHO and UNICEF, for their critical support. 

Abiad also urged residents to report health concerns via hotlines 1214 and 1787.
