Emergency Committee Report No. 35: 109 airstrikes, 71 martyrs, 169 wounded

NNA - Governmental Emergency Committee Coordinator, Caretaker Environment Minister Nasser Yassin, distributed report No. 35 on the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and the current situation, as follows:

- During the past 24 hours, 109 airstrikes were recorded in different areas of Lebanon, mostly in Nabatieh (57 raids), the South (26), and Baalbek-Hermel (24), bringing the total number of attacks since the beginning of the aggression to 11,876 attacks.

- The Ministry of Public Health issued the death toll and the number of wounded during the past 24 hours, where 71 martyrs and 169 wounded were recorded, bringing the total number since the beginning of the events to 2,968 martyrs and 13,319 wounded.

- The Health Emergency Operations Center issued a statement announcing that the Israeli enemy's raids on the cities and towns of Baalbek-Hermel led to the fall of 52 martyrs and 72 wounded.

- To date, 1,133 approved centers have been opened to receive displaced persons, 957 of which have reached their maximum capacity.

- The total number of registered displaced persons has reached 190,083 IDPs (44,041 families) in shelters, with the highest percentage recorded in Mount Lebanon and Beirut governorates (but it is estimated that the number is much higher).

- From September 23 to November 2, 2024, the General Security recorded the crossing of 361,300 Syrian citizens and 177,864 Lebanese citizens into Syrian territory.

- The Governmental Emergency Committee is responsible for receiving international aid and distributing it to the displaced within a clear and transparent mechanism across the governorates.

- All security apparatuses are responsible for maintaining security and contributing to helping the displaced, distributing food and fuel, protecting shelters, preventing monopoly operations, monitoring prices, and controlling borders.

- The Minister of Education and Higher Education issued a decision regarding the launch of the 2024/2025 academic year on November 4, 2024, in which he specified the teaching paths in private and public schools.
