NNA - Al-Zahrani - Under the patronage and in the presence of Caretaker Minister of Environment, Dr. Nasser Yassin, the “First Environmental Conference in Sahel El-Zahrani Villages” was held on Friday at the “Saeed and Saadi Fakhri Development” Foundation’s headquarters in the southern town of Al-Zrariyeh.

The Conference comes at the invitation of the Saeed and Saadi Fakhri Development Foundation, Sahel El-Zahrani Union of Municipalities, Training, Guidance, Municipal and Voluntary Development Association, and the Lebanese Environmental Movement.

The environmental conference took place in the presence of Caretaker Minister of Finance, Dr. Youssef Khalil, “Development and Liberation” bloc MPs, Ali Osseiran and Hani Kobeiss, Municipal and Mayoral Affairs Central Official, Bassam Tlais, as well as municipal, mayoral, social, and cultural dignitaries.

In his delivered word, Minister Yassin thanked the Union and all those who contributed and worked to achieving this conference, promising “full cooperation to reach the desired results.”
