NNA - Beirut Metropolitan Elias Audi on Thursday welcomed Patriarch Rouphael Minassian, the Catholicos of Cilicia for Armenian Catholics, at the Beirut and its Environs Metropolitanate.

Following the visit, Patriarch Minassian remarked, "Christ has truly risen. My visit to His Eminence Elias is a fraternal visit on the occasion of the holidays. The Feast of the Resurrection is a celebration for all clergy and all Christians. It was a joyful occasion to meet again after a period of absence. We met and discussed spiritual and social matters, especially those we face in our daily lives and during the fulfillment of our duties. The Gospel teaches us a lot, and it tells us that our Lord used to say to His disciples: 'By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.' Today, we express our mutual love, and we are very happy about it."
