NNA - Caretaker Minister of Environment Nasser Yassin, on Thursday received in his office "Strong Republic" bloc MP Nazih Matta, in the presence of the Head of the Lebanese Forces’ Bureau of Environment, Dr. Farid Karam, and MP Matta’s Bureau Chief Murshid Al-Habr.

Discussions reportedly touched on the environmental conditions of the Aley region.

On emerging, MP Matta said that the meeting focused on the issue of the Naameh landfill and its maintenance, as well as on the issue of the quarries in the Ain Dara region and the importance of protecting these mountains from the random quarries.
