NNA - Caretaker Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn said on Monday that the success of Tripoli's security plan is dependent on several factors.
He stressed in that respect the need to lift the political cover from perpetrators, eliminate the conducive environment to terrorists and let the security apparatuses carry out their job in the City.
"What happened in Tripoli was very dangerous," he said in a statement he delivered today, calling for punishing those who carried out and helped in performing terrorist acts that took away the lives of many innocent people.
Caretaker Minister hailed the civil society's movements in the North and made clear that the citizens' support to the Army was bigger than all hollow speeches some officials were delivering to justify their killing and destruction operations.
Ghosn lauded all sacrifices the LAF was making and called on all citizens to keep supporting the military institution.
