NNA - Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Beshara Rahi, urged politicians, during his Sunday sermon in Bkirky, to make the necessary preparations for the presidential election, in order to meet constitutional deadlines set for 2014.



Within this context, the prelate advised these leaders to form a new government and approve a new electoral law, to organize legislative elections in the nearest time possible.



Lamenting the security situation in Tripoli, the patriarch expressed his sorrow over the events of the city. He warned armed militants of the wrath of God and prayed the army and security forces would soon save the city, disarm combatants and bring them to justice.
