NNA - Member of Liberation and Development Bloc, MP Ali Khreiss, urged the state to immediately mobilize to halt the violence in the northern city of Tripoli, asserting that Lebanon's sole enemy is Israel.


The fighting in the north could only benefit Israel, according to Khreiss.


"Jihad can only be done against the Israeli enemy, especially that we are living through a true crisis on a regional level."


Once more, he confirmed that the core cause is that of Palestine, and one must not deflect from it.


"We in Lebanon will persist in our principles...and the resistance, army and people formula will continue to stand in the face of Zionist plots."
