NNA - Maronite Patriarch Mar Beshara Rahi expressed appreciation on Friday to Qatar, for its contribution in releasing the nine Lebanese kidnapped in Azaz.



Rahi spoke today upon his arrival at Beirut International Airport following his fresh visit to Qatar, during which he met with senior officials.



Asked about the case of the two kidnapped bishops, Rahi said that no one has the slightest clue of where they might be, and that the Emir of Qatar promised to exert his utmost efforts to disclose facts on their case.



On the government formation issue, Rahi said that in case Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam stepped down, Lebanon would wallow in a stain of disgrace.



He called upon the political leaders to quit destroying their countries, form a government and elect a President in May.



With reference to the situation in Tripoli, the Maronite prelate uttered rejection to all illegitimate weapons' manifestations.
