NNA - President of the Republic Michel Sleiman received Friday at the presidential palace in Baabda a delegation from the American University of Science and Technology (AUST), chaired by Ms. Hiam Sakr, with a delegation from the Kurdistan region in Iraq.
The meeting was an occasion to deal with the relations between Lebanon and Iraq in general, and Kurdistan in particular, and the mutual desire to reactivate it at all levels and in various fields.
Professor Gabriel Gharib also visited the President today and thanked him for the award he gave him in recognition of his creativity in the medical field in France.
