NNA - The family of Sky News Arabia cameraman, Samir Kassab, who went missing in Syria last week, urged Tuesday the Lebanese officials to adopt the case of their son, who disappeared in Aleppo with reporter Isaac Mokhtar and their Syrian chauffeur.
"The case of Samir is still absent from the concern and attention of the Lebanese politicians and officials. We recall that our son was assuming his duty with professionalism and objectivity. He is not a party to the conflict," the family said in a statement today.
"We exhort whoever can help us, journalists, media, the civil society, and Islamic, Arab, and international organizations, to work on bringing Samir and his comrades back safe and sound to their families," they added.
