NNA - Druze spiritual leader, Sheikh Al Akl Naim Hassan, met at the Druze Community House in Verdun, Beirut with the American ambassador to Lebanon David Hill with discussions featuring high on general issues.



Hassan had also met with a delegation from the Inter-Religious Constituent Body for Development and Dialogue headed by Sheikh Hussein Shehadeh.



During the meeting, Hassan stressed the importance of ongoing dialogue among people of different religions and sects to reach an effective outcome that would protect the diversity that characterizes Lebanon and the Islamic unity and strengthen coexistence between Christians and Muslims in the East and the World.



He pinpointed that "the honest fruitful dialogue based on constructive cooperation is the only way to resolve the different crises which we all are suffering from".
