NNA - MP Walid Jumblatt hailed the Chief of General Security, Brigadier Abbas Ibrahim, for his pressed efforts in releasing the abducted Lebanese of Azaz, indicating that the official reference of the state shall remain the most important authority to communicate with foreign sides in order to resolve a problem like the kidnapping of those pilgrims.
Jumblatt's stance came Monday in the context of his weekly editorial to Al Anbaa newspaper.
Accordingly, Jumblatt congratulated the pilgrims and their families for their freedom.
He also welcomed the release of the two Turkish pilots, considering their abduction as a negative step, especially that "it turns us back to the black days of kidnapping."
Turning to the Syrian file, notably the chemical disarmament issue, Jumblatt attacked what he termed as "the fraudulent international policy," which according to him, served Bashar Al Assad by exempting him from his crimes.
