NNA - Caretaking Prime Minister Najib Mikati paid a visit Sunday to PM-Designate Tamam Salam at the American University Hospital in Beirut to check on his health, after he was admitted earlier for viral infection treatment.


Future Parliamentary Bloc Head, former PM Fuad Siniora, also paid Salam a similar visit on Sunday.


It is to note that PM-Designate Salam continued to receive calls to check on his health status throughout Sunday; namely from President Michel Sleiman, House Speaker Nabih Berri, former House Speaker Hussein Husseini, former PM Saad Hariri, and a number of other political figures.
